  1. To whom it may concern –

I am researching a RAF pilot of 263 Squadron who died when his Westland Whirlwind fighter, serial P7094, crashed in the early hours of 16 May 1943, believed to be in Holcombe Rogus.

Does the Parish Council keep records that far back, or is there a local historian who could help me locate the precise crash site?

My telephone number is 01929 472448, and I hope to hear from you soon.

    Best regards
